The first census entry I saw her on was the 1901. My nan (Marys granddaughter) born 1921 remembers MARY. The only definate thing I know about MARY was that she was blind.

Hi I have come to a complete brick wall concerning my 2xgt nan MARY NOLAN. All I know is that from the census she was born abt 1852 in Tipperary Ireland. She then came over to England. When no-one knows. No-one in the family knows if she was married to my 2xgt grandad HENRY CASH born 1885 Whitechapel died 1918 Bethnal Green. They had several children. Have not been able to find a birth or death for her. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Teresa

Thank you so very much SANDRA and MANAWAKIAN for finding all this information on the PRATT family. My late grandmother used to exchange Christmas Cards and letters with ETHEL LOUISE for years and then they suddenly stopped arriving from Canada.The family just presumed that she had died. When ETHEL came over to London in 1926 my nan and LOUISE did meet.and they grew very close. Another mystery solved for my Family Tree.

Hi Im trying to find a death for my 1st cousin 2 x removed ETHEL LOUISE PRATT born 31 January 1905 Monitoba Canada. The last time I found ETHEL was abt 1933 when she moved to Winnipeg Canada.
I would also if possible like to find the death of her father GEORGE R PRATT born in 1876 London. I do know that he lived to celebrate his 100 birthday.
ETHEL also had a brother FREDERICK GEORGE PRATT born 1903 London. I have found him in the Canada 1916 Census but after that nothing.
Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldnt of thought she would of returned to Ireland and died there as 1) she was blind and she couldnt have made that trip alone and 2) the family were quite poor so I would of thought they wouldnt have the money for the fare.

Hi rosie 99. The 1940 death you have found can't be MARY as my nan (Mary's grandaughter) was born in 1921 and she has told me that MARY was not alive then.

Hi rosie99. I cannot find a marriage either for MARY. I have looked for a death under the surnames NOLAN and CASH.
HENRY died 1918 Bethnal Green. My nan has said that MARY died in this country but not the year.
