Oh, and Thomasin was a girl, I have seen that name several times in the family tree and they are all females.   At first I thought it was a typo, but alas, it is indeed Thomasin....

Thank you for the information, I have to keep better track of where I see things.  I have traced my line from me to my 4th great grandfather, Richard Greet- b. 24 June 1761 in Blaby.  It is his parents I cannot find, I saw on some site, the LDS I think,  that Thomas was his father, and I tried to traced the other way from known Thomas Greets down to my 4th Great grandfather.  That family line started with Rychard Greet in 1520 in St. Just in Roseland, as far as I can tell the Williams, Richards, Thomas's, John's, and Nicholas's in the family are just to many to not be the same family.

Down / Bann Valley, Down County- Thomas Crook

I am looking for birth information for Thomas Crook, b. about 1698.  What I do know about him was that he married Hope Cartwright on 24 March 1720 in Nantucket, Massachusetts, US. and he died at sea in 1758.

Cornwall Lookup Requests / St. Just in Roseland- Thomas GREET
« on: Thursday 07 March 13 15:10 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for data on Thomas Greet (b. about 1738) St. Just in Roseland, Cornwall, England. I believe he is the father of Richard Greet (1761-1831) and should be the son of William Greet b. 5 March 1709 (St. Just in Roseland).
Thomas was born in St. Just but I believe he moved to Blaby, Leicestershire, England prior to 1761 and married Elizabeth (unknown) (b.about 1730) where she gave birth to Richard Greet.

Thank you for your efforts.

Richard J. (Greet V) Crooks

But I think there is a generation, maybe even two, missing in between Richard and Hester (married 20 feb 1704) and the birth of Richard in 1761.  Unless Hester  was giving birth at 78 years old...

Thank you very much for the information, I thought it might be Richard and Hester, but haven't found a verifiable source yet.
