As they were married in Newcastle registry office I don't know the religion. Their daughter my grandmother Sarah was married in All Saints church, Newcastle which is an elliptical church, and old catholic is mentioned. Fanny is stated as a spinster on the marriage certificate so fanny Willis is a different person. I know she was remarried to a Thomas Quinn. I'm trying to find out about the family in Amargh and when they left thank you

i am looking for the above families. I have the marriage certificate of william black who married a Fanny Anderson. William Blacks father is Luke Black and Fannys father is John Anderson they were both born in Markethill, co Amaugh but i dont know when they came over to Newcastle/gateshead. But William was born 1830 and Fanny in 1832, they were married in Newcastle in 1852.

it seems i may have the wrong family, after a bit of back tracking ive worked out that Sarah M Black was infact born in 1871 and not 1860 as first thought. So im back to square one needing to find out her parents. She was born in Ireland and married a William Shedden in newcastle in 1887. They had a few children one of which is a Sarah my grandmother born in 1898.

I know that william Black married Fanny Anderson in newcastle all Saints Church in 1852. He is on the 1861 census as being born in Ireland. Unfortunatly Fanny Willis is a different person but thanks. Trying to find the birth record for william Black born in 1829 in armagh.
Thank you for your help

Hi ive just checked my info, i have a Harriet Black, she was 9 on the 1861 census in Newcastle. Shes followed by Luke 5, Martha 3 and Sarah M 1 (this is my gt grandmother) I dont have a copy of the marriage certificate, just a birth certificate for a Sarah daughter of the above sarah in 1898. It looks like Fanny nee Anderson remarried a Thomas Quinn. Im trying to find out the Ancestors from markethill. I wonder who miss willis was.

Im looking into my fathers line, and need any information on the Black and Anderson family. They were oringinally from Markethill Northern Ireland. William Black married a Fanny Anderson in 1852. William was born in 1829 and Fanny 1834. Does anyone have any information of the parents of these 2. They ended up living in Newcastle.

Hi im trying to trace the parents of Henry Pavitt, born about 1750ish he married Mary Whitbread in High Laver in 1777. There also was rebecca Pavitt who married Marys brother Joseph in 1784 at the same church, dont know if this was just coincidence or they were siblings. Cant seem to find any information on Henrys birth.
