I would really appreciate that NooshieW. I have had some contact with family in Plymouth so they are seeing what they can dig up too!!
It is all rather addictive, finding a new lead is sooo exciting!

Hi, just found this rather old post!
My GGG grandfather was William Triscott.
My GGGrandfather was Charles Triscott
My G Grandfather was Thomas Sidney Triscott
My Grandfather was Leonard Triscott.
I am just wondering if you could share in info you found with me please. I am at a dead end as where to look as I can't find William and Fanney anywhere past the 1851 census.
I would really appreciate it.

Hi,
My GG Grandfather was Charles Triscott married to Ruth Lillicrap. His father was William Triscott married to Fanney Triscott, this is where I come to a dead end, I can find them on the 1851 census but not the 1841. I am wondering if anybody else has had any luck tracing them?
I would really appreciate any help.
