Hi to all.  I'm getting a bit off the subject but I was looking at the lease and noted that William the 1st child is not on the lease. Also  none of his 3 sons children were named after him.

Hi Myluck and Shanew147. Many thanks for your suggestions. that's the way I was thinking but its getting the link between James (son of William ) and my relation is difficult to get without or even dates of birth. I was told by Wicklow C.C. that  the records were burned during the civil war. As you have stated there are other ways. I'm only  new to this and learning more every day

I am trying to connect my grandfather Francis Murray (1851-1917) to Archbishop Daniel Murray (1768-1852) I have read all the articles by J. M. Flannery with great interest. My grandfather lived in Coolemore, Ennerreilly Co. wWcklow and was married to Anne McGrath on 17- o8-1873 in Kilbride. My great grandfather was James Murray who was married to Anne Mcgrath. All efforts to link this information to the archbishop has failed.  I know there could be a link through his brothers William (via his sons, James, John, or Paul ),James and Peter( 1763-1832) but the records seem to have been destroyed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Des
