I’ve seen no other records for her since the 1942 article until 1946 when she was on the poll register at 214 Hainton Ave, Grimsby (the same address where Harry & Teresa were on the previous poll)

Edith then had son Stewart (Harry was the father) in December 1946. No more trace of the said Teresa Hibbert thereafter

I’ve now made contact with someone from the McKee family, so will see what emerges from there.

Unfortunately the siblings of the said Roy Hibbert are either deceased, have Alzheimer’s, or untraceable atm.

Morning mckha489.
I’ll think hard about any certificates, but I’m confused by the fact that if this couple are the parents of ‘Lily Woollas’, it can’t be the same person as Teresa Budlin who married Harry Hibbert in 1934, as their MC shows Teresa’s father as James William Budlin, fruiterer in Brackley.

Maybe there was some child/name swapping going on?

Mckha489.  Back on this Hibbert/Woollas saga.
On the 1939 register it shows Harry & Teresa Hibbert at Taylor’s cottages, Humberston.
There are three redacted entries, which I’m “assuming” are Janet b 1935,christine b 1936, Maureen (b 1938).  All three we are presuming are still alive.

This gives different Christian names to those you have given at Tetney.

Am I missing something?

Jons65:  I’m probably barking up the wrong tree I think (see my previous explanation)

And John died so very young.

I haven’t found any death records for Janet, so assuming she’s still alive, but I cannot find any family trees for her.

Yes, that’s right.  Teresa Budlin married Harry Hibbert in 1934, but I can find no death record for her.

Harry died in 1960

I think I’ve maybe found a marriage between Janet T Hibbert (née Budlin) and a John B Lamb (both Grimsby) in June 1957.

On the 1939 Register I think I’ve found the right John at 148 Hope street, Grimsby, and I’m assuming that Janet is one of the “officially closed” records at the address of Taylor’s Cottages, Humberston.

On the marriage on FBMD in 1957 it shows janet as Gainsboro and John at Dover.

Can anyone please advise where I can look now for further info.  (I can’t find a death for either of them so maybe I’m flogging a dead horse, unless there’s a FT from someone in their family).

Thank you!

I’ve also seen that following a free trial with Genes Reunited they do offer a very reasonable monthly payment - unlike Ancestry or FindMyPast.
