Hello Val, I am anxious to exchange info but can't find your Pinson family tree on Ancestry. Perhaps you can find my Blacker, Bennett, Garrett tree and we can communicate that way. I thought I had sent my email address via this message board but perhaps it is not allowed.
Looking forward to a connection
Janne

Hi Val, Richard Snell is my great, great grandfather. I have very little information of the family in Aust apart from that which I have found on the internet. My great grandmother Sarah Jane Snell was born in Campbells Creek, Victoria and remained here when Richard and Mary Hannah returned to Burra. I have had brief contact with a Bishop descendant in NZ. I would like to chat more.

Thank you Prue - as I expected, a father / son  problem with an interesting result - the beginning of the family line in Australia.  Can you please tell me how you found this? - I am a relatively new researcher

Warwickshire / Seal vs Seal Birmingham courtcase
« on: Monday 17 September 12 12:11 BST (UK)  »
Some time between 1863 and 1868, my great grandfather William Seal and his father Joseph Seal both of Nuneaton, Warwickshire, UK were involved in  a court case against each other in Birmingham. Seeking any information that may related to same. As a result  of losing this case William emigrated to Australia

My great, grandmother's sister  Harriet Garrett, daughter of Joseph Garrett and was born in Nuneaton in 1840 and married Humprhey Horsepool and went to live in Chesire. Looking for any descendants of this marriage.
Also looking for any descendants of her sister Emma Garrett who married Michael Ballard, auctioneer of Nuneaton.
