Any info regarding my ancestors.  Richard Palmer was born approx 1787 in Cork and was serving with the 66th Foot Army on St. Helena Island where Napoleon was exiled.  We believe he met Catherine on the Island and married there.  They had several children who were born on S.H.  We believe Catherine may have been a native of the Island and we know nothing about her or her maiden name or what nationality she was.
After Napoleon died they most likely left St. Helena around 1836 or thereabouts.
We know they went to Cork, Ireland, but no records to prove it.
Would be grateful for any help!
