When I lodged in Llansawel in 1959/60 my landlady who was a member of the Shiloh chapel would often go to local eistedffods, she was a keen singer. What were these eistedffods?

I lived in a caravan on Pengelli in 1960/1960 then owned by Humphries/ Evans, a wonderful family. As a winter project to keep my brain active I want to write about the people there when I was a trainne in Brechfa Forest. Would be pleased to share any memories of the farms, pubs( three were 3 then) & people
