The Common Room / Timothy OShea

Hi
I’m hoping someone has access to Ancestry newspapers and journals, or can advise how I can get free access to the Brooklyn Daily Eagle archives. Recent upgrade of my subscription to Ancestry Worldwide requires an extra payment for the above.
I have all the relevant information on Timothy O’Shea, thanks to a previous post on the forum.
There is an obituary for him in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle dated 10 May 1946. This is all I require on this person.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for this.
I had found Frederika in 1921 and found  the marriage for her but hadn’t discovered the details about Nova Scotia.

Thanks
I did try to put down as much information as possible.
I did say we’d found them in 1901 & 1911.

Thanks Allan,
He’s proving to be elusive, he only seems to appear after his marriage in 1883.

Hi
I am researching for a friend the above.
We have found quite a lot about him but we are struggling with a couple of things.
His age keeps varying on his marriage certificate Frederick Skipp to Sarah Duckett he is b 1857, in various census returns he is b 1852, then in 1921 b 1846.The 1891 & 1901 he is born in Ireland, the 1911 Lydney, Gloucestershire. So any proof of his birth either here or in Ireland would be good.
According to his marriage certificate his father is William Skipp, an Architect.
Any information about possible parents.
He moved around quite a bit Gloucestershire, Northampton (marriage) Sheffield, Smethwick and Oldbury. From Hotel Porter to Licenced Victualler.
Yesterday I found a Cheltenham birth for a son to Alfred Frederick Skipp in 1892, I believe this to be him as the address corresponds to one we have for him.
Regards
Brian
