Nice to see you on here.
I looked up the OPR of Angus Mackay and Mary Mitchell. He was a seaman of the parish of Dysart, son of Angus Mackay, so it looks like he died soon after. I think there may be records available on findmypast but i 'm not commiting myself to subscription until I have other stuff prepared to research as well.
Alexander Allan on the 1841 census at the next household to Agnes and Mary was a ships carpenter but I don't know if it was he whom she married not taken that further yet. He may have been too young.
I noticed lots more records available free to view on family search and freecen.
