Is there a way to check the location without ordering the printouts? Do genealogical groups have access to those records?

Thank you so much.I didn't know that was possible. I have one possibility with NR by the father's name, and several hundred others. I'll start with the NR to check the location  :)

New Zealand Completed Requests / NZ adoption approx 1871

Hi, I'm not sure if this query should be here or in the DNA section.

Someone has contacted me through Ancestry DNA because they match (not very strongly) with myself and ten others that are in my family tree.

Her great-grandfather was adopted in South Otago around 1871. Is there any way to find out who his birth parents might be? She can't find a birth record on dia for his adopted name.

Hoping someone might be able to help, as I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks  :)

South Africa / Johannesburg death certificates

Hello, is it possible to see a death certificate from as recently as 1984? The person concerned died in Johannesburg on 3 May 1984, and I’d like to know his parents’ names if possible.
