Hi Spelk,
Thanks for your reply, yes, very confusing, George Fletcher was given two possible Do B's, one was about 1760 and the other about 1767/8. These are from other FT sources which i picked up on. I don't really know his DoB or any other details about him apart from his marriage.
Regards
Mike

Good Afternoon All,
Back again asking for some more help with my research. I am hitting a brick wall with a George Fletcher (Husbandman) born about 1768, that's all i have on him apart from his marriage to Elizabeth Andrew born 1767 in Staithes and married George Fletcher at Hinderwell 7 July 1788.

Problem is finding the correct George Fletcher, his correct Dob and his mother & father. your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Kind Regards

Hi Eilthireach,
Thank you for your reply,

Robert And Euphen (Euphemia) and forwards of their children are fine. Peter was their first born son, born 1811 and died 1873, he married Agnes Mirk and had 6 children.
It is getting further back to Robert's mother and father who were named on Robert's death cert as Peter Fletcher & Margaret (maiden name) Christie i cannot find any information for.
I did notice the name Christie, but as you say not impossible for two seperate people to marry a Christie.
Many thanks for your help

Regards
Mike
