Hi CaroleW,
I have information collected from Congleton St Peter's Parish registers. I have tried in other instances for other lines to find these bastardy bonds records but can never find them.
I would appreciate if you could share a link to them I am obviously not putting in the correct words for google to search.
Cheers
Julie

Hi,

I am trying to find the father of Michael Shufflebotham born in abt. 1804  to Mary Shufflebotham of Astbury, Cheshire.
the Register says he was the illegitimate son of Mary Shufflebotham B: 1788.
Another researcher has found evidence to suggest that Edward Turner of Moreton was the father.
Is there anyway to verify this?
Alson I have John Shufflebotham B: abt.1847 the illegitimate son Of Mary Shufflebotham B: abt. 1827 father unknown.
Would you be able to shed any light of either of these would be much appreciated.

Regards Julie

Hi
no unfortunately I have hit a dead end. The only reason for coming to Australia at the time they did was probably because of the gold rush in Victoria.  I have yet to research that aspect.

Ok looks like another dead end. Perhaps she came from another county.

Does anyone have information on Patrick Glynn who married a Bridgit Parker?
Supposed parents of Catherine

thanks

Julie
