Hi all  Thank you for all the help it's greatly apricated. I've been out of the game for a while due to really really not being well and having spent a good bit of time, so my daughter has my log deets so she could if she wanted to find something on her family tree esp her fathers side (He passed away 6 yrs 4 mnts ago) I have her marriage to James Robertson and now what you's have given me but I cannot find her birth/death records

If anyone can find that it would be really really appreciated

But cannot find any other info on them.

Hi all I'm picking away on my mam's Grans side and have managed to get back a fair bit back but am now stuck! I have gotten to

Joseph "Josie" Stewart
B:1785 Ballymena, Antrim, Northern Ireland

D:31 October 1807 Ballymena, Antrim, Northern Ireland.
His wife is

Jean Moharg
B:1785

D:1873 but this is all I have on her

Josies parents are:- Robert Stewart
B:1756 Clough Antrim N. Ireland

D:1837 Clough Antrim N. Ireland

Wife is as far as know was

Margaret Mann
B:1759 Clough Antrim N. Ireland

D:1843 Clough Antrim N. Ireland.

This is as far as I have gotten to as Irish records are extremely hard to find so if anyone can help me I'd be super grateful for any an all help.

Was your grandfather born in Scotland?  (As he is still alive please do not give his name here)

If yes - who were his parents shown on his birth cert  - including his mothers maiden name

When did his parents marry?  Have you downloaded a copy of their marriage cert? Who were their respective parents

Have you found his parents on the 1911 or 1921 census showing their respective birthplaces?

Hi its Alexander Stewart born 1862 or 1865 as I believe that they were brothers but 1 died and the next boy was renamed Alexander! I have all relative info on my Grandfather and his family, I'm just having issues with Alexander.. alexanders parent are unknown to me and that's whom I'm trying to find.

Hello all, Hope that you all had a a great Christmas and new year, I'm hoping someone(s) can help me out, My Grandad is 98 now and I have been working really hard to try get as far back in his line as possible to show him his linage as he has always wondered and no one else in the family is bothered their butts but I'd love to give him as much of his linage as possible even if its just his direct line, before anything happens to him, as he has had a spate of illnesses and his health has declined, he still has all his faculties but you never know what is around the corner and I'd like to know as much as possible before (god forgive me for saying this!) anything happens to him I have found an Alexander Stewart whom married a Margaret Morison or Morisone they married Kincardine by Doune. they had a child also called Alexander Stewart who was born either 1682 or 1685, or possibly there was 2 by that name but my one is born 1865. The one in 1865 was born Kippen, Stirlingshire as I have conflicting evidence unless they had 2 kids called Alexander! I'm looking for any other kids of this couple and also Alexander Stewart (Father) parents but cannot seem to find them... Can anyone assist me in anyway what so ever in finding this family? or, an their forefathers?

One Name Studies: H to M / Finding Names on maternal paternal line

Hi all I hope someone here can help out I need a help finding My Maternal Granddads family and hope that someone(s) on here who may know the name etc and can get in contact the name I am looking for links to is Joseph McGilp he married a beautiful woman called Anne Edmondstone Clark Sommerville on the 11th November 1950 in Whitburn's Brucefield church the went on to have 5 kids (I have those info but need assistance in finding anyone who maybe part of the family and have info on them so that I can hopefully find family alive from this family,

McGilp's I'm looking for are from Victoria St Harthill as Granddad was born there, his dad was born at Monklands House By Airdrie (Coatbridge now) and also (this house no longer stands, it's now a small housing scheme I think)

I look forward to hearing from anyone from this family or people who knows this family
