Hi. Could somebody please lookup a burial for a William Taylor, born about 1786. Sure he died between 1861 and 1865 at Ashby de la Zouch.
Wife's name Elizabeth.

I have February 16 1862 as well and wife Elizabeth as Elizabeth Dawson married by Banns 25 June 1804

Thanks, interesting both with same surname (twice in two generations) also marriage 25th June 1804, my sister married 25th June, 1966, I married 25th June, 1977 and my best work buddy married (on a Friday) 25th of June 1976!

Actually found the record and Elizabeth's last name was Dawson, signed with an X witnessed:
Thomas Chapman and Joseph Hallam (Clerk)

The census "1827" WAS done by Rev. Soden of Blockley . . . a census of his Flock, the source online is from me.  I ran the parish council web site for 14 years and my cousin (died 25 June 2012) transcribed all of Blockley's records, almost all of which you can find on the researcher page at www.allthecotswolds.com

From my cousin John Malin in Blockley:

Now about Dingle Lodge.  One of our relations Richard Turner lived there
from 1920 and died there in 1925.  I lived there with my parents from 1934 -
1949 before doing National Service. The Lodge was demolished in 1958.  Have
a photograph somewhere which I will download to you shortly.
