Owing to an old family letter, there are members of my family convinced that we are "castle breed" and can be traced to William the Conqueror.  So far...all unproven.

Hello - I am a Canadian who will be visiting Worcester in two weeks time.  I am wondering if there are records available somewhere (possibly the Hive) that are more detailed than what I can find on Ancestry.com.

Specifically, I am looking for an 1856 birth certificate that may list my great-grandmother's father.  The baptism record does not list a father.
