I did wonder Joe.
But sometimes there were Chapels of Ease which were never as fancy as actual main churches.  I thought maybe it was just built at a time when there was no money to spare.

Anyway, I looked in my photo file for it and I actually took a pic of the interior (the door was broken).  And the plaque in the grounds shows what I assume is a depiction of the old church.

Hi wildgoose,
I took photographs of that old church yesterday and here are a couple of them.  I spoke with a local man and he told me it had never been dedicated to a saint and was always just called Killycreen Chapel.
