Cousin Bruce responded:
"Apparently, our great grandfather had a sister, the mystery Mary you have below.  She fits the right time period and she never left Scotland, which would probably explain why I never heard of her.  A quick jump into somebody’s family tree on Ancestry.Com shows her in the family.  Lot of times there are wrong entries on people’s family trees especially when they paste other people’s mistakes on their trees, but usually the mistakes aren’t when they list brothers and sisters.

Which brings me to Elizabeth Mary Buchan, 1874-1973.  She appears to be a combination of our great-grandmother Lizzie, wife of George, who was born 1874, and Aunt Elizabeth, who died 1973.  I think we would have heard of a 99-year-old in the family."

I hope this helps, if not, the delete button can be a wonderful tool.
My grandfather was George B Buchan (1895-1971), with sisters Elizabeth and Bella, and was married to Edith Warren (1985-1990). My great grandfather was George Buchan, who founded the bakery, and was married to Elizabeth Morris. His brothers were Sandy, John, William, Andrew, Peter, and James (sorry, I previously stated fewer brothers). I have a message into cousin Bruce with a better database of dates.
