Thanks to Dawn and Mike for the reply but to trim 126 A4 pages will take some doing I did print a tree about 10 years ago and the problem of half a name on one sheet and the other half on another didn't occur if I update from 2006 to a later edition can this be avoided

having bought a new PC (Windows 10) I want to print out my tree but I find that some of the names are half on one sheet and the other half on the next A4 sheet. Is there something I can do to overcome this I am on Family Tree Maker 2006

Hi Ray Sarah has told me to get in touch with you re my problem I am using Family Tree Maker 2006 on my PC Windows 7 and I keep getting "this is a read only" so I can't put any more info in   
Through trial and error I found out that I have not ticked a box with read only So what can I do to get back to normal as Sarah has told you I am PC illiterate because I am 86 years old can you put the solution in plain language PLEASE Thanks George
