Thanks so much. The spellings changing on the names seem a bit odd to me. I wonder if they changed them by deed poll.

Just thought i'd pop on to say thanks as I have had the Archibald/Potts names confirmed, so this gives me more to go on. Archibald was the name of George's mother (Name before marriage was Potts) and father and I am told George's mother married twice. Now to see what else i can find with this info.

Does that mean that Marjorie must have died?

I'm not to sure to be honest. I think I will write to the address that I have as I know if alive they will be amazed that I remember them and that a relative from the past has got in touch. 👍
