Kent / Hedges surname Kent (Chatham?) area

Hi I'm trying to locate family members of the Hedges who were / are resident in Kent around 1959 or so.  Especially relatives of Maureen Hedges (nee Kelly).  Thanks.

Thank you Chris Doran.  Appreciate the help.  I have just received information from DDC Burials as to which cemetary she is interred in, along with my grandfather.  Amazing speedy service.
Does anyone know perhaps if there are photographs available of particular graves in cemetaries?

I have tried using the search function for the National Archives but am getting thousands of incorrect results  :D  What do I search for, exactly?

Thank you so much, slowly but surely a little more info is coming to light :)
I am almost 100% certain that this is the person I am trying to trace.
Catherine Kelly at 16 Salisbury rd shown as widow .DoB  9 Sept 1877 Domestic duties.

After consideration, she was probably retired by the age of 62 and no longer teaching.  I am certain she taught from 1932 when she arrived in Dover, but still need to find evidence of it.  Do you perhaps know what the retirement age was in the '30's?   And would domestic duties just mean 'stay at home'?  Am wondering why she wouldn't have put 'Retired'.  Perhaps just a foible of the way Census is done or was done...

Thank you very much indeed, Heather and BumbleB, I am certain this is my grandmother's records.  I can't thank you enough.  Now on to Google Earth to check these places out.  Thanks again.

No I didn't!  That must be her, she was a widow.  Which register is that exactly?  Thanks.

Well, I have just now managed to find a record of what I presume to be her year of death https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=227750138:9873&d=bmd_1508773079
Now I just have to try and find where she is buried.
