Thanks for the welcome to the site - what a result for me.
Your reply is fantastic. I did not give Jane Pearson's maiden name Rawson, although it was the surname I had arrived at via other means it was still to be proven, hence my request for their marriage details. It does tie in especially the marriage date - I never thought they could have been married in St Chad's especially with Jane and first child Ann c 1832/33 born in Halifax.
2nd child Mary was c1836 in Todmorden. It fits that Ann could be illegitimate of Jane.
