Hawkins is her maiden name, she was married in Chippenham Wiltshire 18th Dec 1827 and her married name was Wakely.  Sent of for her husbands second marriage and her death certificate last Friday hopefully will have them by the end of the month from GRO

First I wish to thank everyone who helped me in my previous chat, now after Mary Anne Hawkins married in 1827 in Chippenham died 1842.  I am after her ancestors etc also does anyone know where I can buy these type of information on disc or books etc.

Think I have messed up John's first wife I know that it was Mary however now wonder if I have got her surname and date of marriage wrong.

PS - GRO has his age  - 72
Yet someone has his sons second marriage in October 1843 and put made his mark, so how can he make his mark when he supposed to have died a few months ago.  Sorry wrong person as someone said his father was Thomas and made his mark but how can he when someone said he died around the same time as John.

Thanks for your help tried Family Search and either get a lot of names mainly from the States or nothing, so can I ask how do you manage to get this information?

Found a Thomas Wakely in the 1841 Census but living in Dorset wonder if it is Johns father?  B 1771

Found a John Wakely b 1770 in the 1841 Census living in Melksham with a wife Jane with sons John aged 35 and James aged 20.  However they are Ag Lab, just realised looking at wrong Wakely family thought father was John but it is thomas
