Many thanks for that.  I don’t know where I can go from here now. I don’t know Thomas’s date of birth or who his parents were.  Seems I’ve hit a wall!!

Hi,
I’m trying to find the Marriage Registration of Thomas Blears, shoemaker, who married Mary Thorley at the C of E Parish Church, Cheadle, 17 th December 1829. I’m hoping to find the parents of Thomas, and also his birthdate. That would help me go back a further generation. Being on the other side of the world makes it impossible to do any lookups myself.
