Hello, I was searching for a Holbrook on the 1901 census and actually found him on , On the census there was Llanllecha Hall, LLanllecha farm and Llanllecha college. I think the buildings might have been on the property where the st julians house once stood, but Im getting a bit confused , because I think there were actually  two, one was a manor house situated on the old caerleon road. Owned by the families of the Herberts or firbanks, I would love to see a photograph of these buildings(pref The farm) or a map to its whereabouts Any Ideas?

Hello , Hope I can explain this as short as poss . My G Gdad Samuel Johnson married G Gmother Margeret anne Duggan  b 1860 preston Lancashire bout 1879  same place. They spent some time in newport monmouthshire. They had Three sons  but I was always told when I was young , that they adopted a daughter julia who  left under unusual terms for america in her later years.She is listed with family on 1901 census, dolphin st newport as julia johnson  daughter aged 11. On the 1891 census, she is listed as Julia Harrington 1/2 adopted daughter, also on this census are two Harrington brothers who are listed as cousins. I just cannot seem to find that link , who they were cousins with . They were from Ireland , was it Margaret?I think Julias Dad might have been Michael?Also maybe a link with Brunnock?Also there was a will or inheritance mentioned in america? Sorry its long , I have tried,but my heads spinning Please could sbody help?
