I just came across your message. I have just today discovered that Robert Brewster is my second cousin. If it is the same person, he died in Craigleith Military Hospital on 23rd Sep 1915. He was a Private in the second battalion of the Seaforth Highlanders (reserved). He was married to Jane Gillies in 1887 in Kirkcaldy. His son, Francis Marshall Brewster was born in 1894 and died in 1958. My father, in his eighties, remembers Frank, he was a coal miner and died of a lung disease. He had one child, a daughter who died in 1987, Rachel Laing Brewster. So far I can't see if she had any children. I saw the message about making a new grave stone for him. What further info or help can I give on this?
