My 4-gr-grandafther was Thomas Dorrell, shoemaker, who was in Burnham in the 1941 census.  However, I believe he was born in Wycombe around 1794.  If you can find his father, maybe he is our common ancestor.  Could your Joseph be Thomas's father?

Mary was born 26 March 1968, according to AFN:7N56-3G.  But strangely I do not see her in the BMD index, unless she is 1968Q2 Shoreditch 1c/140.  Also, I do not understand why I don't see her with John & Rosetta in Waverley Road in the 1871 census.
