Yikes, that creates another (worse?) Issue for me. I had Ellwood as her maiden name, and she married my grandfather John William Troughton (born 1891) to become Agnes Troughton. They had Noreen, Doris, Muriel and Jack. Beginning to see how confusing this can all get. Never sure who to believe (ancestry vs myheritage vs FamilySearch)

Isabella Ellwood (born 1869) is my great grandmother. She had a daughter Agnes Jane Ellwood (born 1895) who is my grandmother. I have no idea if Ellwood is Isabella's maiden name, but John Ellwood (born 1832) had a daugter named Isabella who was also born 1869. All seem to be from the Penrith area. Isabella has two potential spouses, George Ralph Wataon (born 1859) or Joseph Ellwood (born 1876) who just might be her brother
