Suffolk / Re: CRICKMORE, all of the St. Elmham's
« on: Monday 18 September 17 20:28 BST (UK)  »
Hi, Nari --

I looked through my research, and I do not have any of the Crickmore names you are looking for.

You may find something at  http://www.familysearch.org,  which has quite a large database of genealogical information submitted by researchers through the years.

Good luck with your search.

Sincerely,

Susan Blake

P.S.  If you would like to take a look at my family tree and see my Crickmore line, just go to my website --  http://smblake1.tribalpages.com

I am searching for the will of a Mathie (Mathew) Cornaby, who died 1668 Yoxford.   I have already tried to find this will on microfilm at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, but without any success.  Any help will be much appreciated.

Norfolk Lookup Requests / Re: British Census, 1841, Norwich

Thanks very much, Clare, for the lookup.  I had tried to find Harriet and her family on the 1841 census online on two different websites, but somehow the Sursham family did not get transcribed.  Thanks again.

Norfolk Lookup Requests / Re: St. Benedict's, Norwich
« on: Thursday 01 February 07 22:44 GMT (UK)  »
Hello again, I thoroughly enjoyed the link to St. Benedict's and reading its history.  I was born in Norwich, migrated to the US with my family as a young child, have been back for a few visits through the years, but I don't think I have ever seen the remaining tower of St. Benedict's Church.  Now that I am doing my family history, I am learning about many of the old churches in the City, the ones whose bells I remember ringing so beautifully on Sunday mornings during a visit in 1963.  Thanks again.

Norfolk Lookup Requests / Re: St. Bartholomew, Heigham, burials
« on: Thursday 01 February 07 22:34 GMT (UK)  »
Thanks, I just looked at the link.  It was very nice to see the old church where some of my ancestors were christened, married, and buried. I didn't realized that part of the church is still stnading.   I didn't find any of my family in the prominent families, however!   Not to be expected.

Kent Lookup Requests / Re: Sheerness parish records
« on: Wednesday 31 January 07 23:35 GMT (UK)  »
Thanks very much, Nick.

Since posting my message I have learned that John Sursham (the father) was in the East Norfolk Militia and had a daughter, in Plymouth, Devonshire, in 1814.  I wonder now if the Militia had also been in Sheerness.

I appreciate the search that you did.

Sincerely,
Susan
