It was 1950 when his wife Margaret divorced him (not 1960), so if he married again it was most likely to be between 1950 and 1960.  Do you know if he definitely remarried?  I can't find any second marriage or death for him but he might have died after 1993 when online records currently stop.  Do you know when and where he died?  If so a death certificate would give you the information you are looking for i.e. second marriage, children etc.

His WW2 record says he was born in 1915 in Mingenew WA and married Margaret Thelma in 1943, but that is all I can find relating to his birth and first marriage.  Did you locate birth and marriage records for these events?

Here is a link to his WW2 record but I don't think it helps.  I have searched without any luck so far.

The ship Daphne arrived in Adelaide on the 17th of December, 1885 (source Trove, Evening Journal 18 Dec 1885, p2) but a shipping list does not seem to have survived (the South Australian Archives say that not all lists have survived),  There is a list of passengers in the newspaper but only those in cabins are mentioned - the 32 passengers travelling in steerage are not named.

I don't think the one I found born 1886 is correct either.  I think this her death in 1890 i.e. after Ann Freeman emigrated:

Name    Jane Frances Freeman
Death Age    4
Birth Date    abt 1886
Death Date    1890
Burial Date    16 Nov. 1890
Burial Place    Ford Cemetery, Liverpool, Lancashire, England

If this is the birth of her daughter Jane in 1886, then it leaves a small window for her emigration to Australia i.e. between early 1886 and late 1888 when she married in South Australia.  I will have a look.

Name    Jane Frances Freeman
Registration Date    1886 [1886]
Quarter of the Year    Jan-Feb-Mar
Registration Place    Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England
Volume    8b

Hi,

I think the Ryerson Index refers to his death notice, published in the Sydney Morning Herald on the 1st of June, 1896:
