Hi Susan,

I noticed that there is one more entry for a Henry Mcadie on the: Immigration Lists Index, 1500s-1900s  - although I don't have the exact year. I'm guessing it would be 1889. You've already been very kind on helping me with my previous request. Any chance of looking up this one?
Regards,
Rob Macadie

Would someone be kind enough and look up a Henry Mcadie who visited the UK in 1901? He had emmigrated I think in 1888/89 and was returning back to Scotland to visit relatives.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Sarah,

How can I help?

I can only provide some info on Margaret MACADIE who married  John WEIR on 24 September 1852 in Wick and their children.

Cheers,

Hi,
I have quite a bit of info on the Weirs and the Malcolms. Plus some photos of the 5 Weir sons of Margaret Weir/Macadie and John Weir. Let me know if I can help.
Cheers, Rob Macadie

Scotland / Missing person - can anyone help?
« on: Saturday 03 July 04 12:59 BST (UK)  »
I am trying to discover what happened to a Henry Mcadie who was born in Wick, Caithness, Scotland in 1855. He appears twice on the 1881 census - once in Wick with his family and also in Inverness with his wife. Shortly after this date, his wife was admitted to a lunatic asylum in Inverness and appears on the 1891 (and possibly on the 1901 census also) but her husband Henry does not. And can find no death certificate and no mention of emmigration. Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice. I would very much appreciate any help solving this puzzle.
Regards,
Rob Macadie
