Hi to you Hume24
Once again thank you for taking your time to get back to me, and so much info, I'll be honest this search I'm doing for my cousin to get her started and she will be thrilled at what you have come up with, I only started with this yesterday, when i got the marr on SP for James Barker and Jane Barker Shields I thought it a bit odd with her fathers name in the middle,am i wrong in thinking that it would be at the end? i myself have not long started with my genealogy so don't really know much (cant you tell)
Can I ask you Hume 24 how do i do a free search on SP.
So thanks again for getting us started with more info to get our teeth into
and also Dave 52.
regards
Beeny.

hi to you all
could anyone help with anything on this lady.
sarah mcneil  born Belfast about 1826/1827  she was in Glasgow census  by 185l and she is down as head ,  and her name is Harvey  also  Mary a daughter aged 3 and Rebecca aged 7maths.
(when Rebecca got marr 1873 she had her father in as john Harvey. dec... when Sarah died in Glasgow1898  her parents are down as john McNeil and Rebecca  Auld.also her husbands name is down as William)
I have tryed SP to see if she married in scotland but there was nothing so maybe she married in ireland..most of my ancestors are from ireland, in the glasgow census's its just says Ireland so with this lady they have put Belfast Ireland, so i thank them for this bit more info..
thanking you.. and a very happy xmas to all.

Hi to you all
I am trying to find a wee bit more  information   on a  Charles Smith (aged 23) marr Rose Sheridan (aged 20) in 1914 Govan, his parents where James Smith Farm Lab, and Ann Rodgers,
Rose parents where Francis Sheridan,Mason and Kate Reilly.
I found a Death Cert. for Rose Sheridan she passed 192l aged only 27, I have tryed SP for any census up to 1901 to see where they were born but have not had much luck.
cheers Beeny
