Thankyou both so much.  That really looks like a good match

I have a couple of questions from this information -

Was divorce an option at this time?  Or did Roses first husband remarry, and lied that he was a bachelor?

As I can't find a marriage for Rose and Arthur, I guess i can assume they were living together, and lied on the census?  Would this have happened a lot then?

thankyou once again

Hi

I am looking for some help with what happened to this lady after 1891

Rose Elizabeth Damant B. 27 Mar 1862, Grundisburgh, Suffolk

Parents:  Abraham Damant & Ann Gurling

Married a George Ramsey, Nov 24th 1883, Witnesham, Suffolk

We have found 1 daughter  Emma Eliza born in 1885, Witnesham, Suffolk

The family are then on the 1891 Census living in St Pancras, London

I can them find another possible marriage for George to a Florence Maber in December 1899, he is listed as a bachelor

I cannot find what has happened to Rose.  We have a photo of her in a group with a young relative (maybe aged 3 or 4) who was born in 1918, but I cannot find a death record for her, or find her on the 1901/11, census.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thankyou

Hi

I have an Arthur Edward Stearn b. 27 January 1914, in Parker's Terrace, Hadleigh, Suffolk, to George Charles Stearn and Alice Stearn, formerly Baker.

I cannot find any other records at all for him.

I would really appreciate some suggestions on what I can do to find out more about him.

Many thanks
