Surely must be under Johnson surname rather than McDonald.  Makes you wonder if Sarah had passed away and that is why Matthew was the guardian of those children ?

Was there anything else to link Sarah, the mother to the Lennox or Reid surnames ??

Discounted John Swindlehurst (1841 England) died 18 Sep 1916 Millcreek, Erie, Pennsylvania.
Parents not correct.

Not confident he is correct but ust checking this guy at mo - born 19 July 1843 England. Says he immigrated 1844 ?? Had lived in USA for a while. daughter born there in 1883. Wife's maiden name Fenwick.
