Dorset / John Wheatley/Whetley in 1831?
« on: Monday 26 September 05 20:21 BST (UK)  »
If there is such a thing as the 1831 census for Dorset and this information isn't too vague, please could sks see if they can find the family and himself of course, of

John Wheatley/Whetley.
born about 1813 in Poole
was about 25 in 1841 and living with the "Dean" family in Clement Alley Bridport in Dorset (thanks to Nicky).
He seems to have lived and died in Bridport so I am hoping it was a little place in 1831 and that he can be found with his parents!

Also the family of James and Mary Weeks born about 1774 in Bickleigh and 1782 in Honiton but hopefully livivng in Poole or Bridport or Bradpole in 1841.  He was 77 and she was 69 in 1851.

Many thanks

« on: Monday 26 September 05 20:15 BST (UK)  »
Does anyone know the whereabouts of Vivien Laura Anne nee Taylor?

She went to Cheam Common School in Stoneleigh in the 1940's.

Is believed to be living in France somewhere and has 1 child and 3 brothers.  Unfortunately do not know her married name.

All lived in Worcester Park, Surrey during the 1930's onwards.

Many thanks

Sussex / 9 Manor Crescent in Brighton?
« on: Monday 19 September 05 11:58 BST (UK)  »
Hi - would anyone know if 9 Manor Crescent in Brighton still exists?

It was there is 1944 and I have tried to get some estate agents to help but none seem to want to reply to emails!

If it does and there is a way to get a photograph of it, I know someone who would love to see the house in which they were born in 1944 but who now lives abroad.

Many thanks for any help.
