i am trying to find information on the love family they originally came from londonderry ireland.they married on to the murphy family from port glasgow.but now i am finding it hard to get any information on them
any help or information would be really helpful to me
the information i have on the cooke family is cathrine cooke my grandmother born 14/2/1920 later died 9/8/1999 in greenock.
her father was thomas cooke - d.o.d was 1961 he moved to greenock from londonderry ireland,he was also a tugboat master for steele and bennie, clyde shipping.
hugh cooke died ?/8/1933 he was my GG grandfather he was a tugboat master as well.
thomas also had a brother called hugh but i don't have any more info on him as yet.i have a john cooke died june 1927 at the age of 41 and a maragaret (o'neill) cooke died july 1956.
but that is as far as i have managed to get with the cooke family
 :( :(
