Martha Wilson was born in 1806 in Ireland and died in 1866
married William Stewart on the 28th November 1824 Yarm, Yorkshire.
William Stewart born 1796 Scotland died 1856 Easington Lane, Durham, England

In my family tree I have an Isaac Stewart married to a Jane Francis.

Isaac Stewart was born in Dundee, Scotland father was called William Stewart.
Jane Francis was born in Ireland and her fathers name was Thomas Francis.

I have a Personal Swiz Diary from 1916 for a Hans Gunter who came from Thorigen.  It is all in German, but a very interesting diary.

Well it could be anywhere I took this from a collection of photo's that I have from my husband's father that served in ww2.  But his mother's family also served in ww1 and ww2.

Maybe it comes from that side I don't really know.

Maureen I put this photo and have the original photo of this it was in with my husbands father's photo's he served in the Gordon Highlanders, unfortunately I don't know the rank of your ancestor at all but if you would like a copy of the photo I would gladly send you a copy.

I've also been doing my husbands family tree which is big as well from Scotland and adding some stuff on my mother's side so doing different trees but they are all on one tree.
