Midlothian / Stormont(h) Canongate

I am having difficulty finding any marriage records for James STORMONTH (b. circa 1792 - age 50 on 1841 census) and Jane (Jean) Robertson (age 50 on 1841 census) they also appear on James STORMONTH b. 1825's birth certificate. The only STORMONT(H)/ROBERTSON marriage I can find on Scotlands People is David STORMONTH and Jane ROBERTSON. Could they have been unmarried?
They appear on the 1841 Census at Canongate with the following children:
Ann (15 y/o) (m. Robert SMALL 1842)
James (20 y/o) - my GGG g/f b. 1825 - Lexicographer, Teacher, Mission Curate - St John, and sometime Minister Burgh School Canongate. Was in Orkney 1861 penned "The Orcadian Boatman's Song", author "The Stormonth Dictionary" m. Margaret TROTTER-HUNTER 1847 I add this as it may assist in identifying my line

Thomas(10 y/o) (m. Helen SCOTT 1859)
Any help with my line would be greatly appreciated.
