Jane Sentance was the daughter of Joseph Sentance and Mary Dennis if that helps.

I have some descendants but nothing further back that Samuel's parents.

Broughton may have been married to or had children with as many as 7 women in a variety of locations. Rebecca Tomason, Ann Watson, Elizabeth Dewey, Isabel Cannor, Mary Green, another Elizabeth, and Anne Brauns

Documentation for his father and mother is limited. No birth record for Valentine, though naming his son Broughton suggests a connection to Thomas Sentance and Ann Broughton. He could be their son, or the son of their son Broughton. Mary was his first wife, no last name that I've found, died 1721. His second wife was Ann Tooley.

Bennett was christened in Barrowby May 26, 1860.  His parents were Robert Sentance and Ann Simons, who were married November 15, 1852 in Barrowby.  Bennett (or Bennet) had 9 siblings (more detail if you'd like).  Robert's parents were William Sentance and Ann Winter, married in Barrowby Oct 17, 1808, after William's first wife Mary Taylor died.  Robert was born in 1825, christened on Nov. 6th.

I have more if you'd like.

The Machin nephew is the son of Elizabeth's sister Susannah and John Machin.  The niece Elizabeth is Elizabeth's brother James and Caroline Fancourt's daughter.

Not sure if I replied to this - I've been ignoring the board for a bit.  I haven't anything on their descendants, but Elizabeth is the daughter of Joseph Sentance (b 1774, Boothby Pagnell) and Sarah Porter (b circa 1776, Edenham).

Let me know if you want more.

What would you like to know about Jane?

I have her as the daughter of James Sentance (1792, Great Ponton) and Frances Pullen, (1803, Harlaxton).

More if you want it.

In the 1871 census, its just the two of them, no children whatsover.  Certainly no sign of new ones after 1861.

My Rawdens start with a William who marries Sarah Sentance in 1834.  My records (based on transcription of the 1881 census) have him born in 1812 or so in Leadenham, just north of Hough on the Hill (about as far again as Hough is north of Barkston.  Though I've just checked the 1871 census (the image is a good bit clearer by the way) and that seems to indicate he was born about 1799.

In the IGI the closest there is to the first date is a William Rawdin born 1810 as in your case to a George and Ann, this time in Brant Broughton, just west and a bit north of Leadenham. This seems to be part of a family, mostly listed as Rawdings though some Rawdens early on,  could be Elizabeth's, but moving a bit?
There is also, however, a William Rawding born in 1799 in Leadenham, so thats more likely mine.  His parents are Richard and Frances.

I did by the way also find a marriage of a George to an Ann Pask in 1792 in Brant Broughton

A look at actual parish registers might help - it looks like either the name was in flux or the transcription varies, or both (or the person writing things down varied the spelling)
