Armagh / Trouton Family Grange Loughall
« on: Tuesday 09 September 08 23:15 BST (UK)  »
I am looking for more information and relatives of my Great Grandfather (William John Trouton) and Great Grandmother (Anne Martin).  They were married in 1894 in Loughall.  This was Wiliam John Troutons second marriage.  His first was to Mary Montgomery who died giving birth to their first child.  The child died also.  William John Trouton went on then to marry again, this time to Anne Martin.

William John Troutons father was Thomas Trouton but I do not know his mothers name.
Anne Martins father was George Martin but again I do not know her mothers name.
I also do not know what William's first dead child was called (if anything).

I hope someone out there will be able to point me in the right direction.

Many thanks in advance.

Firstly thank you for confirming a date for me, this is indeed my great grandfather.

Is this the same William John Trouton as discussed in this topic above?
Can you tell me anything more regarding William John or his parents.  I know that His father was called Thomas Trouton but do not know his mothers name.  I also know that Anne Martin's father was George Martin.  After this I have no information to go on.

Thanks again.

Paul.

Hi,

I have just stumbled across this thread and was wondering if anyone here could help me in my quest to trace my family back.

My reason for asking is simple, I know that my Great Grandfather on my Fathers side was called William John Trouton and should have been born in Armagh around the 1880's.  He married Anne Martin to the best of my knowledge and I was wondering if this is the same connection.

Could anyone here shed any light on this.

Many thanks in advance.
Paul Trouton.
