Thanks Ray. I am sure there are many spelling variants.
It will be interesting to see what options, if any, turn up for this parish.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the tip.
I know the people who had linked Ann to the ALIOT Walkern christening on Ancestry had some Aylott variations in their associated family members.

Hertfordshire Lookup Requests / Look up request: Furneux Pelham - ALET
« on: Saturday 12 April 14 08:02 BST (UK)  »
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone out there may have access to the parish records for Furneux Pelham, Herts and would be able to do a lookup for me.

I am searching for christening of Ann ALET, my x7 gt grandmother.
Ann married Robert PHAR / FARR on 26 Jan 1719 in Albury, Herts - the marriage record states she is of Fornix Pelham, which a google search has led me to believe is the same a Furneux Pelham.

There are several trees on Ancestry that have linked Ann to a christening in Walkern for an Ann ALIOT - I am not so sure about that, and would be keen to see if there are some ALET (or close variation of) records for Furneux Pelham in the late 1600s early 1700s that may be more appropriate.

Many thanks,

Anita

Somerset Lookup Requests / Great Elm or Mells Lookup: ALSOP
« on: Thursday 19 January 12 08:06 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I am searching for my x4 Great grandmother Mary Ann ALSOP b. Great Elm about 1804. She married Henry Thomas WHITING in Frome in 1822.  I have her living in London in 1841 and 1851 censuses, she died in Southwark in 1852.

Stuggling to find her parents / siblings.

Does anyone have access to parish records which may shed some light?

Regards,
Anita

Just found a Thomas Tooth, 27 DEC 1840 Blithfield, Stafford, England , son of Matthias Tooth and Frances on IGI.

Thomas is still with Aunt Mary Bond in 1871 census and lists birthplace as Newton, Staffs
google maps reveals this is .9 miles from Blithfield

I am becoming more convinced that Fanny is Frances, and likely the same one from 1811 that Lisa found.

Thank you very much Lisa. Very helpful indeed. :)

Can I just clarify about the christening record of Fanny Bond in 1797, did it list John and Mary as her parents?

Many thanks,

Anita

If anyone has access to Littleover parish records I would appreciate a lookup.

Interested in BOND family, especially christening of Elizabeth BOND, born about 1800, who married Francis MORTON in in Willington in 1820.

The IGI is very gappy for this parish.   There are some viewable records for between 1810-20 which show children of a John and Mary BOND which may be connected but I am not sure.

Thanks, Anita
