Looks like I might be confusing someone, to clarify.
Mt Great Grandfather Patrick Conoughton or Conorton he also used the name Connerton at times and always in the USA.
Patrick was born in Ireland but all I have found is his note in England that he was born at Castle Parish Durham which is wrong  he was born in Ireland as shown by all his records in the USA and he and he family's word.
I will now attach what info I have available about Patrick Conoughton born 3/21/1840 Castle Parish Ireland,  Patrick Connaughton and Sarah Rollason.  Patrick’s surname was spelt Connorton and the marriage was registered in the December quarter of 1873.  You may, of course, already have the certificate, but in case not, you can order it from the General Register Office online – www.gro.gov.uk – and the reference you need to quote is 6b 1236.
Details of 1881 Census:
Patrick Conoughton, 46 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Castle Parish , Ireland  Details of 1881 Census:

Patrick Conoughton, 46 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Castle Parish , Ireland
Sarah Conoughton 47 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Darlaston, Staffordshire
Samuel Conoughton, step son 16 at the time of the 1881 Census born in Walsall , Staffordshire
Sarah Conoughton, step daughter 13 at the time of the 1881 Census born in James Bridge , Staffordshire
Mary Conoughton daughter 8 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Walsall , Staffordshire
Thomas Conoughton, son, 6 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Walsall , Staffordshire
Catherine Conoughton, daughter, 3 at the time of the 1881 Census, born in Walsall Staffordshire
The family moved to USA Patrick worked as a bank officer and died in Chicago, Il
So I am looking for a Castle Parish Ireland or any spelling that might be close .
I see that Griffiths show Conoughtons in Roscommon, Longford, Westmeath, Sligo, Galway, Monaghan and Cavan
Thank you so much I will try looking at castle kinkenny, Erick
Can anyone recommend where to look.

Hi Shane,
Thak you for the information.
Also when he arrived in the USA his occupation was shown as a printer which he succeeded in being very successful  all his life, is there any possible clues that might show where he was edducated as a printer.
Its a different occupation and he has a very hard to locate name in Ireland.

Looking for someone to help me find the parents of Standish and George Acres
Standish showes his birthplace as Birr Kings County, Ireland.
I am attaching what I know about my great great Grandparents, if you counld help me find the Parents to Matilda Bernabe was born 10/1/1839 in Canada, Standish Acres born 1/3/1837 in Tulamore, Burr, Kings County (now called Qffaly County) Leinster Province, Ireland.  and George Acres I believe his twin brother.
Standish traveled from Ireland to England and immigrated to Canada July 17, 1857 aboard the ship empire from Liverpool, England occupation shown as a printer. While in Canada he met and married In St. Gabriel Presbyterian Church to Matilda Caroline Bernaby Born 10/01/1839 in Quebec, Canada (Standish name shown as Handeah Acres on Quebec vital Records.  There he also attended his brother George Acres wedding to Anne Edwards 12/18/1860 at the Anglican Garrison Church as George was a Staff Sergeant ist Battalion 17Regiment of the foot, Standish stood in as Proxy for Thorcias George Acres.  George and Anne had Thomas George Acres born 10/07/1863.                                                          George Acres retired from the British Military and in 1901 was living with his wife Anne who died 1902 in Edmonton, Essex, Hartford, England, George died age 70 in 1905 the same year as Standish’s death They were twin brothers.

Standish and Matilda had four children while in Canada, Mary Matilda born 6/25/1860, Mary Margaret born 11/6/1861, Caroline Anne born 5/19/1862 and a son William George Acres died 2/15/1865 Died at 6months of age.                                                 Standish moved to Chicago in 1870 he was shown on the 1892 Chicago voter registration as being born in England, very confusing.
