Ford city was an area around the Ford plant, dating back to  1900, it was absorbed into Windsor later. Good luck with your search.

Dear Vaz,
Thank you so much that is great news I was hitting a wall with them. I will add this and see if it brings up anything new. Letitia's father was a James Howell, I wonder if thats him or a brother ?  I was going through  Mere census records to try and see how many Gray/ Greys there were in 1841 and I came upon William Coward and he was the parish clerk alright.
Many thanks for your kind help,

Regards Lynda

Hi Aoifec,

Thank you for the info, you are correct it is a great site. I was hoping that I would find a relative but no such luck. I remember visiting Whitechurch when I was very young. I will certainly be back for a visit on my next trip to Ireland.
Many thanks,
Lynda

Hi I have not gone any further with my Irving tree, so this sound very promising. I will check out the 1901 Irish Census, and will pass this info on to a cousin who lives in Scotland. I will let you know if she has any further info.

Hi Moinear,
Thank you for the info, my grandparents must have moved into 80 Manor St. some time after 1911. I know they were living at home still in the census, but most lightly married in Ballykelly.  Wexford.  I  believe that there was another Walsh family in the Manor also, this must be yours. As far as I know my Walsh's were farmers from Co. Kilkenny. I will file away your info in case something connects us down the road.

Many thanks,
Lynda

Dear Maureen,

Good to hear from you, as you can see from the message board some of what you sent was deleted, so if you can email me at (*) we can cover the living part of the family. Noel has made some great discoveries, info I thought I'd never see.

Looking forward to hearing from you again via email.
Enjoy the weekend,
Your cousin Lynda
