Suffolk / Re: Piper Family, Withersfield, Haverhill Suffolk
« on: Monday 20 April 20 14:43 BST (UK)  »
I have revisited The Boyton family name in Withersfield, Suffolk, and my conclusion is that there must  have been a clerical error during the transcription when the transcriber recorded data from the Parish Register to digital ( which if we search we generally come across ) and the name was recorded as Boyden.
I can find very few Boyden's in the Suffolk area however as the kind reply showed  there are several Boyton's living in the Withersfield area at the time noted. Note Mary Boyton who is of eligible marital age is living in this area.
Without a copy of the original Bann or viewing the original Parish register, and who is to say that the registrar could spell, I have on my own tree recorded BOYTON.
I thank all who have helped.

Thank you for the reply. These are siblings to my Great Grandmother. I sadly cannot locate her I have her DOB as 23/03/1880 but Rathkeale have a registration of 1881 and on the census she is even younger. Scratch head time.

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to search, the data is appreciated. Especially Sarah Connors as I could not trace that information.

Laurence Patrick Sheahan was the younger brother to my Great Grandmother Annie Sheahan nee Piper.
I cannot give you any information on Laurence but can support that he was killed in a fire and I believe there are still newspaper reports on this incident

Hello I am posting to see if any relatives of Mr James T Sheahan will reply.
I am related to his sister Annie Sheahan who married Walter Piper.

I am also seeking genealogy enquiries to this family. My initial enquiries show that there were several Sheahan families in or about Gurrawn, Enniscorthy , Wexford all being named similar.
