Hi Bedfordshireboy,
Unfortunatetly not,it makes it very difficult to search  without it,I was just putting out feelers as to if any one else had come across him.
Where do you fit into the Huckle tree,I descend fromWilliam Huckle b.1823 in Biggleswade Beds married to Martha Meeks b. 1828 also in Biggleswade they were my 2x great grandparents, David Huckle 1857 married to eliza Goodacre were my great grandparents and my paternal grandmother was Florence Maud Huckle B 1888.
Hope to chat again

Hi Paul,
Thomas's parents were my 2x maternal great grandparents Isaac was born in abt.1798 in Potton Bedfordshire UK,he was an Agricultural Labourer as were most of the family, and Elizabeth b.abt.1800 inGamblingay Cambridgeshire, they had 10 children of which Thomas b.1822/27 was the eldest,he wa transported to Australiafor 10 years  in 1844 aged17 for stealing fowls and potatoes.hisyounger brother James was also at regular intervals a guest of the realm ranging from stealing to assault,he was sentenced on one to 5yrs.imprisonment for what was a particularly nasty attack on his third wife, lucky not to have been transported dont you think, the next brother William b.abt.1827 can also be found to be in Australia but as yet haven't managed to find out much about him the state of Victoria are a bit mean with the sccess to their files, the interesting fact about these two brothers is that they both died in Ballarat NSW in 1878,possibly some sort of accident,as for the rest of the children I am slowly working my way through them with not a lot of joy as yet.
Regards Millie

I have a fair amount of information on the Emery family I have traced them back to1548 with the bare bones but not a lot of meat as yet

Hi Sue,
Thanks for your reply,Thomas Emery was the son of my 2x Grt.paternal grandparents,he was born in Potton Bedfordshire Uk in 1826 and died in 1878 i haven't any proof of this date and as yet I am searching on ancestry, he was sentenced  on 2nd July 1844 at the Bedfordshire assizes
and was sentenced to transportation for 10yrs for stealing chickens and potatoes.
He was transported on Pestonjee Bomanjee and was sent to Van Dieman's Land .married Johanna Gorman,I dont at the moment have any details on her except that she died in Ballarat Victoria in 1878.
Any further information  would help in the  search of my family,i seem to have as many relatives in Australia as I had here
