I'm still around.  I just haven't been on my computer for years and forgot my password.  ;)

I'd love to exchange information!

I don't know how to get in touch because I have just been told to remove my email address.

Thanks and Happy Easter,
Karen Bell

Awesome !!

Thank you, I really appreciate this.  ;) :D ;D

You'll also note the one windturbine at the back right of the picture.  It is one of 13 which we already see from our house.  They are 4 kms away though.  When I am finished I will post your "before" picture and my "after" picture (with the windmills).  It'll be tomorrow or Friday though.

Thanks again,
Karen

Hi Aislen,

Your first mail has arrived and certainly looks better than mine.  Thank you so much! ;) :D ;D

The connection between the first and second picture is the biggest problem (the green shades) but again yours is way better.

Did you notice the large bird of prey swooping toward the field of cows?  That is a Red Kite and under protection here.  He and his relatives (we have 7 of them) might be able to save us!  No windpark is allowed to be built within 1 km of a Red Kite nest!!!

Thanks a million and I'll see your next mail has just arrived ...

Get back soon,
Karen

Thanks Aislen,

Nothing has arrived yet but for some reason my mail always comes in real slow.  My Dad in Canada gets my emails in 2 minutes and I get his sometimes 3 hours later  >:( .

I'll let you know when it arrives ASAP.

Karen

Hello Rootschatter,

I am currently working on a major project and because our time is running out I thought I would ask for your help.

A little background information - A neighboring county is seeking approval to build a windturbine park on a large parcel of land they own - in the middle of our County right behind my house.  There are 3 villages, including my own, which will all be less than 1 km from the windturbines (7 of them - each 180 m high) and we have joined forces to try and fight this.

I am currently designing a brochure which we want to distribute at a Fall Fair next week and it must be ready for the publisher by tomorrow night.  I am almost finished with the text and most of the graphics but am having a terrible time with a montage of our landscape.  I have taken several photos which can be merged together for our complete view but I am disappointed with my result as the sizes must be adjusted slightly and it didn't work quite right and some green tones ended up weird where I spliced the pictures together because the clouds blew over so fast that the lighting had changed .  I don't really have time to start again  :( !

Anyways, if anyone is up to this and has some extra time on their hands I'd really appreciate some help with this one.  There are 4 photos and each ca. 1 MB so I won't post them here.  I need the detail as I will later add the 7 wind turbines in the appropriate places.

If you are interested please send me a pm with your email address and I'll send them over.

Thank you so much and I'll cross my fingers  ;) ;D !

Wow, I am really being spoiled here  ;) ;D.

They all look wonderful and a great improvement over the original.

Thank you all very much Joy, Caz and Irene!   ;) :D ;D

Irene - thanks for the compliment but who says I'm better at adding colour?  I love YOUR colourings ;D but I guess we are all more critical of our own work....

Thanks,
Karen
