My Joseph was definitely tried July 1832 for stealing watch and arrived Australia 12 Feb 1833.
He could not read nor write so I expect the Joseph Boulton who married Ann Green is not the same person but must keep it open as it could be. Joseph's parents are not recorded on his death certificate...but are known from the Petition.
It looks like there is a Boulton Green family connection in there all the same...as you say trying to figure it out may take some time! I shall start the digestion!
If there is another petition of 12 pages...where would I find it?

Gas Street shows up as the address where William & Elizabeth were living from correspondence in 1832. Their son Joseph was transported to Australia then but I am trying to find more information about the family or any other descendants in England.

I Have Christian Dott my ggggrandmother, transported to Australia for stealing horse shoes Edinburgh Court Nov 1839, age 15. I have ordered the trail papers, yet to arrive,  and have the Precognition papers. Father William Dott, shoemaker, Linlithgow.
However its her second offence. She had just been released, after 8 months for stealing, from Tolbooth in Linlithgow, charged circa January 1839 for her first offence.
Any idea where to find this first offence, what she stole, are her parents mentioned or is there a lookup.
I want to confirm her mother as Ann Hamilton if possible. (Marriage William Dott and Ann Hamilton 1809).  I now know from her sister Helens conviction her grandmothers name is Helen Walker (married John Hamilton).
Then of course I want to find Helen Walkers Mum...I have no real clues.
I have no death certificate for Christian...can't find one here in Australia.
