Thanks I will list some names and dates and see what turns up - I have already got most of the Scottish side of the Family back to the late 1700's and was now getting interested in the reference to Canada and hoping someone in the areas mentioned might pick up on it

My father gave me peice of paper with a list of names and dates of birth re Clark surname  but at the bottom was written - Other Off - Shoots in Sakatchewan and Alberta Canada - the date period runs about the mid to late 1800's and the family originated from Forneth/Caputh/Clunie  Area of Perthshire Scotland where they worked for the Spieds of Clunie as Gamekeepers,Land Stewards and Factors - would anyone have any info - it is a long shot but worth a try

Hi
New to this site but our local family history centre records gravestones - usualy a couple of cemeteries a year so worth trying the local family history centres - we use a mirror to reflect light onto poor stones - amazing what you can read by moving the mirror around reflecting light onto the writing - worth a try although this one may be well past it.
