Hi, I´m trying to trace William Lundberg baptised in london circa 1803.William was born at sea and lundberg is a typically swedish name ,so I presume his father was on board a merchantman sailing from scandinavia.Does any one know if there are shipping records from that period?any help would be great.

Hi I´m trying to trace Albert James Baker presumeably born in Lewes about 1885,Albert had a sister Edie.It is possible that he could turn up in the 1901 Brighton census because he left home at an early age.Albert married Ada Fuller from Lewes circa 1916.Doughy

Hi ,William Lundberg was a silversmith and trader operating between Dublin and Bristol from 1840 and onward.William married a Mary Dwyer from Ireland and the couple had several children.Tragedy struck  and it seems the family was split for some reason .I wonder if anyone recognizes the Lundberg name in the Bristol area census records(sometimes spelt Lumberg,Lumdberg,Laveburgh,Lundbirg etc).Best wishes,Doughy.

Sussex Lookup Requests / Re: Reynolds. Brighton.
« on: Saturday 26 March 05 18:45 GMT (UK)  »
Hi again Andrea, thanks for the fast reply.Alfreds second name was Henry and I know he was registered as Henry Phillips in the 1901 census ,I also know he lived in Paradise st .The info you have sent me is very interesting because I didnt know there was a daughter Mary 8,the father of Kate was the man I suspected ( 1881 census) John Reynolds from Rye.I´m a little confused about the last 2 mentioned in your mail,William bro 18 and Esther 14 sister, are they Alfreds brother and sister?and lastly am I right in assuming that they all lived in the same house? Thanks again and have a nice easter.Doughy
